POLICE WFC RESUMES TRAINING AHEAD OF PRE-SEASON AND PHASE RETURN
On Friday, Police Women Football Club (WFC) resumed training, officially beginning preparations for the pre-season as well as the phase return of the Rwandan Women’s Football Championship.
The team, currently leading the league standings, returned to the pitch with the goal of continuing to improve player performance, refine techniques and teamwork, and strengthen team cohesion. Training sessions focused on building players’ physical fitness, improving team play, and preparing the squad for the important matches ahead.
The players returned to training full of energy and determination, demonstrating their readiness to face the challenges of the upcoming games. The head coach emphasized that these sessions are crucial for preparing the team for the second half of the league, maintaining their top position, and ensuring they are ready for key matches.
> “We have returned to training with the goal of continuing to develop the team. The players are working hard, and we aim to keep performing well in the league while preparing for important upcoming matches. We want to maintain our top position, and every player has a key role to play in achieving this goal,” Coach of Police WFC.
The training also aims to evaluate all players, including newcomers who could join the squad, in order to prepare effectively for the second half of the season. The club’s management highlighted that the main objective is to retain the top spot in the league and compete strongly for all major trophies.
Fans of Police WFC continue to show confidence in their team’s ability to perform consistently, urging the players to stay united and uphold the pride of the club and its supporters.
