‎On Friday, Indahangarwa Women Football Club (WFC) resumed training after a short break, officially beginning preparations for the pre-season as well as the phase return of the Rwandan Women’s Football Championship.

‎The team, currently third on the league standings, returned to training with the aim of continuing to improve player performance and preparing for the important matches ahead. The sessions focused on building players’ physical strength, refining techniques, improving overall teamwork, and fostering a winning mindset.

‎The players returned to the pitch full of energy and determination, showing they are ready to face the challenges of the upcoming matches. The head coach emphasized that the training sessions are crucial for preparing the team for the second half of the league, as well as for the key upcoming match against Rayon Sports WFC in the Rwanda Super Cup 2026, scheduled for January 10, 2026.

‎> “We have returned to training with the goal of preparing the team in every possible way. The players are working hard, and we aim to perform well both in the league and in the Super Cup. This is a very important match for us, and we are fully prepared,” — Coach of Indahangarwa WFC.

‎The Super Cup match is highly anticipated by fans, given the long-standing rivalry between the two clubs in Rwandan women’s football. Players are also encouraged to continue working together while demonstrating the determination and professionalism that have become the hallmark of Indahangarwa WFC.
