Rayon Sports Women Football Club (WFC) wrote a new chapter in the history of women’s football in Rwanda after winning the Rwanda Super Cup, defeating Indahangarwa WFC 4–0 in a match played at Amahoro Stadium and marked by passion, joy, and exceptional entertainment.

Rayon Sports WFC started the match with great confidence and a strong determination to claim the trophy from the very first minute. Their smooth passing, speed, and teamwork showed a well prepared side. Mukagatete Emeline opened the scoring in the first half, netting a goal that gave Rayon Sports WFC confidence and control to continue playing calmly.

In the second half, Rayon Sports WFC maintained heavy pressure on Indahangarwa WFC, clearly showing a big difference in performance levels. Odette Coralie Nguema scored the second goal, while Ukwinkunda Jeanette added the third in the final minutes of the match. To wrap it up, Niyonshuti Emmerance scored the fourth goal, sealing a dominant and unquestionable victory for Rayon Sports WFC.

This match was not only about football but also a true entertainment spectacle. It was attended by international celebrity ISHOWSPEED, famous for live streaming on social media platforms. The global star thrilled fans with an unforgettable performance that lit up Amahoro Stadium. Smiles were everywhere, the atmosphere was electric, and fans’ energy reflected a perfect blend of sports and entertainment.

Joy filled every corner of Amahoro Stadium, as fans showed that the Super Cup is no longer just an ordinary match, but an event that brings together football, entertainment, and unity among sports lovers. Many spectators described the experienceA by saying, “Amahoro is the place to be,” as what happened at the stadium created unforgettable memories.

After lifting the trophy, the players of Rayon Sports WFC dedicated it to their president, Abdallah Mirenzi, as a sign of appreciation and respect for the leadership and continuous support he provides. The club president expressed great happiness, praising the women players for their commitment, dedication, and discipline, while promising continued support in their pursuit of more trophies.

What went wrong for Indahangarwa WFC

For Indahangarwa WFC, the Super Cup match proved to be a tough lesson. Although the team showed determination at the start of the game, they later displayed weaknesses in defense, with large gaps that resulted in several goals. There was also a lack of coordination among players, especially between midfield and defense, which made it difficult to stop Rayon Sports WFC’s attacks.

Indahangarwa WFC also failed to capitalize on the few chances they created, due to a lack of composure in front of goal and slow decisionmaking. Loss of concentration until the final whistle and reduced physical intensity in the second half played a major role in their defeat.

Despite the loss, Indahangarwa WFC remains confident that they will use this match as a learning experience, conduct a thorough analysis, correct their mistakes, and better prepare for upcoming competitions.

Rayon Sports WFC’s Super Cup victory confirms the team’s strength and quality, while also presenting a new and exciting image of women’s football in Rwanda. The match demonstrated that football can successfully blend with top level entertainment, creating historic and unforgettable moments.
