On the afternoon of today at Gisagara Gymnasium, an exciting match of Phase II (Round X) of the National Women’s Volleyball League (RNVL 2025–2026) took place. The teams RP Huye WVC and APR WVC faced off in a highly anticipated encounter, which ended with APR WVC claiming a straight-sets victory (3–0) over RP Huye.

The match began with high intensity from both sides, as a large number of fans turned up to support their teams, each aiming to secure an important position on the league standings. APR WVC entered the game strongly from the first set, displaying professionalism, physical strength, and excellent teamwork among the players.

The first set ended with APR WVC winning 25–17, clearly showing their early dominance over RP Huye. In the second set, RP Huye attempted to bounce back, demonstrating improved reception and service, but APR WVC maintained the upper hand and won the set 25–20.

The third set proved even more competitive, with RP Huye showing determination not to let the match slip away easily. However, APR WVC’s experience, particularly in blocking at the net and delivering powerful spikes, enabled them to secure another 25–17 victory, sealing the match 3–0.

This performance highlighted APR WVC’s strong ambition to compete for the league title this season, as they continued to showcase a squad capable of blending strength with skill. On the other hand, despite the defeat, RP Huye WVC displayed commitment and fighting spirit, indicating that they are still in the process of rebuilding and improving their performance in upcoming matches.

Overall, the match once again demonstrated the continued growth and popularity of the Rwanda Volleyball League, with competitive, high-energy games that continue to excite volleyball fans across the country.
