APR WFC CLAIMS A BIG WIN AGAINST BUGESERA WFC

 

As matchday 14 of the National Women’s Championship was being played, Bugesera WFC hosted APR WFC in a highly anticipated fixture. The match ended with APR WFC defeating Bugesera WFC 2–1, in a game marked by determination, intensity, and a strong desire to win from both sides.

 

APR WFC started the match on the front foot, attacking aggressively and clearly showing their intention to collect all three points. This early pressure made it difficult for Bugesera WFC to settle into the game during the opening minutes.

 

APR WFC’s strong start paid off in the 7th minute when Gisubizo scored the opening goal following a well executed attacking move. This goal immediately changed the complexion of the match, with APR WFC increasing their attacking momentum in search of more goals.

 

It did not take long, as in the 19th minute Zawadi scored the second goal for APR WFC, giving her team a comfortable advantage and better control of the game. Bugesera WFC tried to respond, but the first half ended with APR WFC leading 2–0.

 

In the second half, Bugesera WFC returned to the pitch with renewed energy, determined to reduce the deficit. Their players showed great commitment and intensity, launching repeated attacks toward APR WFC’s goal.

These efforts paid off in the 68th minute when Bugesera WFC scored a goal after a well-coordinated attacking move, making the match more competitive and exciting. After this goal, Bugesera WFC continued to push for an equalizer, but APR WFC remained solid and well organized in defense.

 

Despite Bugesera WFC’s attempts to get back into the match, the remaining minutes were not enough, and the game ended with APR WFC securing a 2–1 victory. This win helps APR WFC maintain their good form in the championship and continue their pursuit of the top positions.

 

On the other hand, although Bugesera WFC suffered defeat, they demonstrated that they are a strong team capable of competing against the top sides in the women’s league.
