The Rwandan Women’s Championship continues to show intense competition among the teams. On matchday 20, held on March 14 and 15, 2026, there were many games, with teams fighting for crucial points that could change the standings.

RAYON SPORTS WFC DEFEATS APR WFC

The most anticipated match of the day was between Rayon Sports WFC and APR WFC, two teams that are usually fierce rivals in the championship. Rayon Sports WFC performed well, winning the match 2-0 and keeping strong chances to continue leading the league standings.

The game was characterized by high intensity on both sides, as each team aimed to secure three vital points. However, Rayon Sports WFC showed skill and strength, securing the victory and moving closer to their dream of winning this year’s championship.

MUHAZI UNITED WFC BEATS AS KIGALI WFC IN A HIGH SCORING MATCH

Another highly competitive game was between AS Kigali WFC and Muhazi United WFC. In this match, Muhazi United WFC performed impressively, defeating AS Kigali WFC 3-2.

The game was full of goals and exciting play, with both teams showing strong efforts to win. Although AS Kigali WFC tried to equalize, Muhazi United WFC finished the match with all three points.

Elsewhere, Bugesera WFC won against Inyemera WFC 2-0, while Forever WFC defeated Kamonyi WFC 3-2 in a match that remained intense until the final minute.

On March 15, 2026, Macuba WFC beat Nyagatare WFC 2-0, securing three important points in their championship journey.

POLICE WFC DOMINATES WITH HIGH SCORING VICTORY

Police WFC stood out on this matchday, defeating Indahangarwa WFC 5-0. This match showcased Police WFC’s dominance in scoring goals, making them the highest-scoring team of the day.

LEAGUE STANDINGS

After matchday 20 of the 2025–2026 Rwandan Women’s Championship, Rayon Sports WFC continues to lead the league with 48 points from 19 matches.

In second place is Police WFC, also with 48 points from 19 matches, but behind on goal difference. This shows that the rivalry between these two teams remains very tight.

In third place is Indahangarwa WFC with 42 points from 20 matches, followed by APR WFC in fourth with 37 points. Kamonyi WFC is fifth with 36 points, still fighting to move up the standings.

Other teams: Macuba WFC is sixth with 29 points, followed by Inyemera WFC with 26 points. Bugesera WFC is eighth with 21 points, while Muhazi United WFC is ninth with 18 points.

In tenth place is Forever WFC with 17 points. The last two positions are held by AS Kigali WFC in 11th with 12 points, and Nyagatare WFC at the bottom in 12th place without a single point after 20 matches. 

COMPETITION REMAINS INTENSE

As the championship moves toward its conclusion, the rivalry remains fierce, especially between Rayon Sports WFC and Police WFC, who are tied on points. Both teams still have an equal chance of winning the title, making the remaining matches highly anticipated by Rwandan women’s football fans.
