RWANDA U17 WOMEN’S TEAM BEGINS TRAINING AHEAD OF CRUCIAL WORLD CUP QUALIFIER AGAINST ZAMBIA
The Rwanda U17 Women’s National Team, known as Amavubi Women U17, has entered the final phase of preparations to face Zambia in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, having already held their first training session this Wednesday.
The session comes shortly after head coach Oscar Iragena announced a provisional squad that will take part in a training camp. The list features a mix of talented players, including forwards tasked with scoring goals, as well as midfielders and defenders expected to build a solid and balanced team performance.
