The women’s football league in Burundi, the Lumitel Women’s League 2025–2026, has resumed after a break, returning with renewed energy and competitive matches among participating teams. Match day 13 is highly anticipated, especially as only a few games remain before the season concludes.

Although two matches were postponed due to some players being called up to the national U-17 team, this has not stopped other teams from continuing to perform well and compete for top positions.
